Spring has Sprung!
We all look forward to the time of year when the snow starts to melt and we can feel the warmth of the sun on our faces. With all the great things about spring, also comes the unwelcome reality of fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Although we can encounter these parasites at other times of the year we need to increase our vigilance as the temperatures start to rise. Here at Southgate Veterinary Hospital we recommend Heartguard PlusŪ once a month for the prevention of heartworm disease and many intestinal parasites. When combined with Frontline PlusŪ once a month your pet will be protected from these unwanted parasites. Please visit http://us.merial.com/pet_owners/index.asp for more information on these products as well as valuable coupons.

Southgate Veterinary Hospital has been proudly serving the Fargo-Moorhead area since 1994. We are a progressive small animal hospital, located in the southern part of Fargo, North Dakota.
We are proud to be a member of AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association). AAHA is a voluntary organization that we belong to. There are 3 AAHA hospitals in the F-M area and only 5 in the state of ND. To be an accredited AAHA hospital, you have to demonstrate an exceptional level of care and service. We are inspected by an AAHA representative every three years, covering over 800 standards.

We believe that by being a part of AAHA, it helps us to offer you and your pet the highest level of care.
The mission of Southgate Veterinary Hospital is to provide progressive care for your treasured friends. If we feel your pet would benefit from seeing a veterinary specialist, we do referrals to a variety of veterinary specialists.
